Erne West Evangelical Church

Who we are

We are a group of Christians from different social and political backgrounds, with varying interests; yet we are united in one church family.

We are a Bible-believing congregation, and it is our desire to provide Christian fellowship and worship that is both Bible-based and warm hearted and that honours the Lord Jesus Christ as King and Head of the Church.

Because it is God’s voice we take the Bible seriously. Our priority is to read it and teach it with clarity and power to all who will listen. Our aim is to live for Jesus Christ and make him known as Saviour and Lord.

As a church fellowship we are a member church of the Congregational Union of Ireland, which has churches in Northern Ireland and in the Republic of Ireland.

We meet as a church family at 11.30am and 7.00pm on Sundays. Children aged 4-13 meet for Sunday School at 10.30am and some of these join with the rest of the congregation for the worship services. Crèche facilities are available during services with large viewing area and audio relay.

Rev John Magee

John served as pastor of the newly formed church at Erne West for a little over ten years before joining the staff at the Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh. In 2006 he returned to the pastorate of Erne West. He is married to Pauline and has three grown up children.
